Tim Buividas, Ed.D.
Tim Buividas. M.S. founded the Corporate Learning Institute in 1992. His passion is working in change management consulting, training and development, team and individual coaching and facilitation interventions. His goal is to create provocative learning experiences that change people’s lives. Through the delivery of his services, Tim has impacted over 15,000 participant lives from major corporations and organizations throughout the world.Tim provides services that focus on managing change, leadership and management development, team building, and personal style assessment for organizations that are ready to create positive change throughout their organizations. In his position, he is certified in experiential education, Meyers Briggs, DiSC Personal Profile Systems, and Situational Leadership.
Tim brings 17 years of leadership and management experience to his practice. His experience includes expertise in management, sales, marketing, and operations. He has worked internationally in Venezuela over a period of 4 years. Tim is currently working on his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. He received his graduate and undergraduate degrees from Benedictine University. He holds a Master of Science in Management & Organizational Behavior, with a focus in organizational development and a Bachelor of Science. Buividas has expanded his education as a dedicated member of many organizations including the Organizational Development Institute, Organization Development Network, Association of Experiential Education, American Society of Training & Development, SHRM, TEC, Experiential Training and Development Alliance, and the Association of Psychological Type. He has used his education and memberships as a continual growing experience to better serve his clients’ needs. Tim is on the board of directors of the Experiential Training and Development Alliance and on the Career Advancement Network.
Tim is also an Adjunct Professor for Benedictine University and Chicago School of Professional Psychology and past adjunct for Dominican University, Keller Graduate School, and College of DuPage Business and Professional Institute. Tim is completing his doctoral dissertation focusing on Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Tim recently (2006) co-authored a book titled The A-Z Guide of Experiential Learning.

Susan Cain, Ed. D., LCSW
Dr. Susan B. Cain, Ed.D., is Co-founder and Partner of The Corporate Learning Institute and a founding partner of the Black River Center for Management Enhancement.
Sue is an expert in the field of corporate training and development. She is a valued consultant and coach to numerous Fortune 500 companies crossing all industry sectors worldwide. She has a proven record of accomplishment of collaborating with teams from top-tier companies to maximize their return on strategic and human capital investment.
Under her direction in her previous position as CEO, The Black River Center for Management Enhancement developed a blueprint program for training high performance teams. Her training programs have been delivered all over the world and in concert with The Center for Creative Leadership in Whirlpool Corporation’s World Wide Leadership Academy, and Tellab’s International Leadership Institute.
Sue is a qualified corporate coach and is certified in the use of the Denison Culture Survey, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Disc Personal Profile Assessment, Situational Leadership Inventory, Firo B, Profiler, Skillscope and the 16PF. She has extensive experience designing and administering corporate training and development programs utilizing experiential learning techniques. She has developed and led programs in the area of team building, leadership development, accelerated learning, communication, change management and corporate strategic planning. Sue is also a skilled team challenge facilitator, instructor, and advocate.
Susan works nationally and internationally. Some of her clients include Tellabs, Whirlpool Corporation, The Kellogg Company, C/D/H, Amway, OWP&P, Herman Miller, Meijer, Sear’s, and Allstate Insurance. Sue completed her Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership in 2009. Sue received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work & Administrative Management from the University of Chicago. Her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology was awarded to her in 1981 from Elmhurst College.
Susan is also a current board member at the Adventure Centre at Pretty Lake and an Adjunct Professor for the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Argosy University, Chicago.
